About Stewart Interiors

       Stewart Interior Contractors, LLC  was conceived and implemented in 1996 by Gordon Stewart and Paul Stringer to be a full service interior building contractor self-performing metal framing, drywall, acoustic ceilings, lath and plaster as well as miscellaneous carpentry disciplines of work in the New Orleans area. 
       Starting as a company of two employees, Stewart Interior Contractors, LLC has efficiently grown into one of the larger drywall and plaster contractors in the area. Gordon Stewart started a sister company in Houston, Texas, Texas Exterior Systems, in 1998 to follow a similar path as Stewart Interiors.  Between the two companies, we have successfully completed over 400 million dollars of work and employ between 400 and 500 employees depending on the volume of work.
       The Stewart Team has extensive experience in institutional work – hospitals, schools, multi-use facilities, office buildings, malls, and interior lease build outs, etc. Values for complete work have ranged from $5,000 to over 20 million dollar projects.

In Aril 2020 Stewart Interiors celebrated starting our 25th Year in business (Check out Anniversary Newsletter here). Since our inception, Stewart has added many pieces to our corporate puzzle and we feel well poised to tackle the challenges of the next 25 years. Patrick Lind has moved into an executive position and is now an equity partner. Sarah Stewart Robertson has moved into a leadership role over all aspects of company operations. Hunter Robin has also moved into a leadership role over estimating while continuing his critical role in project management.
